Celeste Joseph, a fourteen year old YCS leader was killed when
a bomb
exploded at the Assumption Church in Nepal's capital Kathmandu
killing three and injuring dozen others. The explosion occurred
at 9.15 am Saturday, 24 May.

The Asia Pacific Students and Youth Gathering
(ASYG) is the biggest regional ecumenical youth gathering in the
region. It gathers more than a hundred youth and students coming
from different mainline Protestant and Roman Catholic churches in
Asia Pacific. It provides a regional platform for common reflection
understanding and collective action on social concerns and issues
that affects them.
